Moving to South Orange: Cal Ripken Jr is Coming to South Orange

So many of us grow up with our home town team as are favorite. But, even if you didn't grow up in the Baltimore area, how could you not have admiration for the man who owns the record for most consecutive starts in Major League Baseball? Cal Ripken JR was inducted into Baseball's Hall of Fame just 8 days ago and set the record of 2,632 consecutive starts. My first time at the New Camden Yards visit, i couldn't not buy the signed limited edition of 2,632 bats (pictured below). So, I can't personally wait to see Cal speak as Seton Hall University's Student Activities Board (SAB) announces the spring speaker for their SHU Speaks series is, none other than Cal Ripken, Jr., world famous baseball Hall of Famer and former player for the Baltimore Orioles. Ripken will speak on March 14, at 7 p.m., in the Main Lounge of the Bishop Dougherty University Center.
