The Achieve Foundation is proud to host CHS for a Day, a day of enlightening classes that typify the teaching that goes on every day at Columbia High School.
Parents often say that when it comes time for their high schoolers to choose their courses every year, they are envious. They wish they were able to sit in on some of those classes themselves!
Modeled after the popular “One-Day University,” CHS for a Day affords parents and other adults from the community the opportunity to sample some of the outstanding courses taught by CHS’s talented and dynamic faculty members. They may choose from a broad range of subject areas.
The 2013 CHS for a Day is scheduled for March 16. Enjoy courses including physics, math, Shakespeare, genetics, art and computer skills. Participants share lunch in the Cougar Cafe to round out the day.
Achieve is pleased to collaborate with SOMEA (the local teacher’s union), the Adult School, Columbia H.S.A., Presidents’ Council, the Cougar Café, Cougar Boosters and the CHS Alumni Association to host CHS for a Day.
