In a celebratory Cinco de Mayo mood and buoyed by the gourmet guacamole (outrageously good, btw) offered up when I stopped into Crane’s for my coffee fix, I meandered about the corner to Highland to see if there was an word of an opening date for Cactus Charly. SORPRESA: It opened yesterday!

    Oh my goodness. This was just great. The food was fresh and quite delicious. Really cute atmosphere. Too bad no liquer license.

    Hey nice murals. Food is good, but if you have your heart set on this type of food, you may not get a table. Would recommend it for a quick meal. Really prefer Toro Loco in South Orange where you get it all; great atmosphere, the best margarita's, plenty of fun people to mingle with.
