Watoto Children’s Choir to perform at Morrow - 3/18

The Watoto Children's Choir will perform at Morrow Memorial United Methodist Church during worship service on Friday evening, March 18 at 7:00pm, bringing their vibrant blend of native African rhythms, contemporary gospel music and ethnic dance. Watoto means "the children" in Swahili.
Through their inspirational songs and compelling stories, the Watoto Children's Choir is spreading a message of hope for Africa's children. Each child in the choir has experienced tremendous personal tragedy, having lost one or both parents in the African AIDS crisis or other calamities.  
The "Concerts of Hope" aim to raise awareness about the orphan crisis in Uganda and inform people of Watoto Child Care Ministries' vital work in providing physical, emotional, educational and spiritual care to more than over 1500 parentless children.  
Many of you may remember the uplifting concert from two years ago. We hope to fill the sanctuary for the upcoming concert in March.
