Moving to Maplewood: Holiday Celebration on Springfield Ave 2013


Come out to the first ever HOLIDAY CELEBRATION AT THE SPRINGFIELD AVE GAZEBO!

There will be live music, storytelling for kids, photos with Santa and another special guest character,
a tree and menorah lighting, and refreshments!!! There will also be an elf to make balloon
animals for the kids!!!


WHERE: at the Gazebo Grounds, 1688 Springfield Ave, Maplewood
WHEN: Saturday, November 30th at 5:00pm
COST: all activities and refreshments are FREE

Small Business Saturday*

Kick off your Holidays on Springfield Avenue on with special Small Business Saturday savings and holiday treats on Saturday, November 30th. You’ll find over 25 businesses offering you specials savings, merchandise and refreshments while you shop, dine and prepare for the Holiday season. This is your chance to kick off your holiday shopping and support your local merchants. See the list of participating merchants below and look for this poster in the windows of participating merchants.

Holiday Celebration on Springfield Avenue

After you’ve shopped and saved, grab your family, friends and neighbors and head over to the first annual Springfield Avenue Holiday Celebration – Saturday, November 30 at 5pm. Enjoy live music, refreshments, photos with Santa, a Tree lighting, Menorah lighting and more. The schedule of events is:

· 5:00 – 5:15 pm – Tree and Menorah Lighting with Mayor DeLuca

· 5:00 – 5:15 pm – Santa and friends arrive

· 5:15 – 5:45 pm – Kwanza and Holiday Readings in the Library

· 5:15-5:45 pm – Maplewood Glee Club

· 5:45-6:10 pm – Maplewood Community Band

· 6:10-6:30 pm – Maplewood’s own Bruno Lee and Friends
