Finally, a gourmet gathering that’s not afraid to show NYC it’s got a pair: Get Real’s Balls & Beer Festival, bringing together meatball-makers and local brewers on Saturday, April 7th. Your pass unlocks 3hrs to endlessly sip ~40 crafts curated by the event’s beer sommelier, sourced from such brew-minaries as Lagunitas, Dogfish Head, Allagash, Smuttynose, Kelso, Brooklyn, Cigar City, Sixpoint, Hill Farmstead, Wandering Star, and many, many more.
Will there be meatballs? You bet your a**, there will be! Get Real has tapped 10 chefs from NYC restaurants like Kupersmith, MexiQ & Alewife Queens to concoct specialty pork, chicken, beef, and, of course, gator meatballs that you’ll gorge upon endlessly for those same 3hrs. A general admission pass is just $38, and snags you a spot at either the early wave (1-4p) or the later one (7-10p); or grab a VIP pass ($49) to enjoy an exclusive cicerone-hosted pairing event an hour prior to each session, when you’ll get to go balls-out with first access to all the beer & gourmet grub.
