Millburn and Short Hills Real Estate Setting New Highs in 2016

It was a very good year for real estate in Millburn and Short Hills. Most importantly, we saw an increase in average price paid for homes, rising to $1,405,000 and representing an increase of 4.3% over 2015. At the same time, there are also few areas of concern we need to mention: We did see what may be a slight softening of the market in that more than 60% of the homes sold for less than their asking price, unit sales also dipped by just about 4%, the second such year in a row that unit sales declined; lastly, days on market actually showed small increase as well.

Still we did have a $4.1 Million Sale to top the charts in 2016.
