HarvestFest on Springfield Avenue

The Springfield Avenue Partnership will join with Walgreens to present Maplewood’s fourth annual HarvestFest on the grounds of the Hilton Branch Library at 1688 Springfield Avenue between Tuscan and Oakland Roads on Saturday, October 13th from 11:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. (rain date: Sunday, October 14th).

Other HarvestFest highlights (and their sponsors) will include:

“HarvestFest has become a Maplewood tradition, drawing people from all over town and surrounding communities and showcasing the ongoing transformation of Maplewood’s Springfield Avenue,” said Mayor Vic De Luca. “HarvestFest is great because it is so community and family oriented, with plenty of activities, entertainment, incredible food and more, co-sponsored by local businesses and restaurants, that will have children and adults enjoying a great day on the Avenue.”

Throughout the month of October, the Springfield Avenue Partnership will also be sponsoring exciting events and activities from Springfield Avenue businesses; details will be provided by the Partnership in the weeks ahead. The Partnership will also continue the tradition of painting the center stripe along Springfield Avenue pink (paint donated by Ricciardi Brothers and service by Statewide Striping) and wrapping pink bows on trees in the district in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
