Maplewood Library Murder Mystery October 11th

As part of the Library’s Centennial Celebration, the Maplewood Library Foundation is hosting its annual fundraiser, a Murder Mystery on
Friday October 11th, at the Main Branch of the Library, from 7-10PM.

“Death in the Stacks,” a murder mystery conducted by Gareth and Liz Jones of Deadgood fame, will be performed by none other than Mike Healy, the actor, magician and Assistant Principal of Columbia,
Phyllis Kessler of Strollers fame and several of her thespian brethren.
The all adult audience will be fed cocktails, clues and dinner from 7:00-9:30 after which they will be polled and the mystery solved.

The Library Foundation is working hard to support two major initiatives underway at the library:

- expansion of the media lab including a 3-D printer and technical instruction
- the continued effort to archive more of Maplewood’s historical data, photos and artifacts.

The library is no longer only a place to read books, (although it will always be that). It is a center for learning, connecting and absorbing
the rich cultural resources of our community. The Library is fast becoming a hub of innovation and technology, and an incubator for creativity.
So, if you haven’t been there in a while, come and see what is going on and have a great time while you’re at it.

Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased at the Library or online at maplewoodmurdermystery.brownpapertickets.com
Or if you need further information feel free to email me: dianehaase@verizon.net

Purchase your tickets before Oct. 1st or email us to reserve a spot for you. Ticket prices go up to $85 after October 1st

In the event that you cannot join us Oct. 11, please consider a donation to the Maplewood Library Foundation at 51 Baker Street, Maplewood, NJ 07040
