Light em Up in New Jersey

As a kid growing up in Massachusetts, our family couldn't wait till the Holiday season as our Park and Zoo--Forest Park--would have a drive through lighting display.

Now as a New Jersey resident, here is an amazing fun fact:
Did you know that New Jersey is home to the first electric Christmas lights? Thomas Edison showed of his new electric Christmas lights in his laboratory in Menlo Park, New Jersey in the year 1880. Outdoor Christmas lights were not introduced to the public until 1927-1928!

Now, for your area options for Lighting displays:

This is something I only recently became aware of, buy why not combine a trip to the Newark Museum with their new Laser Show?

There is also the Lighting display at the Turtle Back Zoo

And then, there is the intimate Light show in Livingston, across from the Library and new Town Hall.
